Software for multi-site play area groups
PlayAreaOS runs a group of play areas as one organisation with real branches underneath it. An owner standing in one mall still sees the other floors, POS and teams from a phone, and a Tuesday at one branch can be set beside a Tuesday at another without anyone exporting a thing.
What changes at the second site
One venue is a routine. Two is a comparison. The question stops being "how did today go" and becomes "why did today go better over there", and that only works if both sites are counted the same way, by the same clocks, at the same closing time.
What belongs to the branch, and what to the group
- Each branch keeps its own capacity, its own occupancy board, its own cash counts and shift closes, and its own rota.
- Reports run for one branch or across the whole group, and export to CSV.
- Prices, packages, party packages and staff roles are the group's, so a family gets the same answer at whichever site they walk into.
- Customers, loyalty and vouchers belong to the group too, so a family is one record however many of your sites they visit.
Growing without starting again
A new site joins the organisation as a branch and opens on the prices, packages, roles and family list the group already runs on, on the tablets and laptops that site already has.
Questions
How does billing work for a group?
Billing is per organisation rather than per branch, monthly or yearly, on one of three bundles. The pricing page sets out what each covers, and info@playareaos.com will quote against the number of sites you run.
How do existing sites come across?
The group's catalogue and family list import from CSV under one organisation, with a check report before anything is written. Branches are added to that organisation as each one comes on. The switching page walks through the move.
What happens when we add another site?
It opens as a branch of the organisation you already have, running on the same prices, packages, roles and family list, while keeping its own capacity, cash, shifts and reports.
Does each branch need its own equipment?
Only a browser, on the tablets, phones and laptops that site already has. Opening a branch is not a hardware order.
Where do the group's records live?
They belong to the group. Every night they are copied off-site, over an encrypted connection to storage that encrypts what it keeps, and reports export to CSV for one branch or for the organisation as a whole.
