What is PlayAreaOS?
PlayAreaOS is the operating system for kids’ play areas, family entertainment centers and amusement venues, managing operations, human resources, suppliers, bookings, memberships, payments, inventory, marketing and customer engagement.
The word that carries the weight is one. The family who signs a waiver at the door is the same family who books a party, buys a multi-visit pass, gets a birthday message and leaves feedback, and all of it lands on the same record. Nobody retypes a name between systems, and nobody reconciles three reports at closing time. The category has a definition of its own: what a play area operating system is.
It runs in the browser: the POS on the tablet at the counter, the timers on a phone out on the floor, the office work on a laptop. Nothing to install, no hardware to buy. Parents scan a QR code for the waiver, the booking form, the feedback page and the price list.

Where is it built, and where is it used?
It is used wherever there is a browser. Your country, your currency, your tax rate, the days your week treats as the weekend, your prices, your packages, your roles and every word a family reads belong to your venue and are set inside the app, so the same system runs a floor in Dubai, in Manchester or in Kuala Lumpur.
It is built in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, and has been since 2026. That shows in the details a Gulf venue needs every month: payroll produces the WPS bank file and the MOHRE SIF, and WhatsApp is treated as the channel families actually answer. Why does it exist?
Because of a familiar Saturday: a generic POS in one place, waivers on paper, party bookings in a diary, the rota in a chat group, payroll in a workbook, and none of it agreeing with the rest by the time the lights go off.
A bigger spreadsheet does not fix that. One system that understands what a play area actually is does: that a child's session has a clock on it, that a party has a deposit and a balance, that a waiver belongs to a family rather than to a visit, that the desk tablet is shared and every action needs a name on it. PlayAreaOS is that system, published by the organisation rather than by any one person.

One product. The POS, the timers, the waivers, the parties, the passes, the campaigns, the rota, the payroll, the finance and the stock all live in a single browser-based system, sharing one family record and one set of staff logins.
How do I move across from what I use now?
You bring your family list, your product list and your opening balances over from your old POS or your spreadsheets, at whatever pace suits your venue, and go live on a day that suits you. The switching page walks the whole move through.
Do I need to be in the UAE to use PlayAreaOS?
No. The POS, the play timers, the waivers, the parties, the passes, the customer records, the stock, the suppliers, the rota and the books work the same in any country, and your country, currency, tax rate, weekend days, prices, packages and wording are all set inside the app. Venues in the UAE get the WPS bank file and the MOHRE SIF out of the same payroll run.
