Can I bring my employees and their balances over from what I use now?
Yes. Employees arrive with their opening payroll balances by spreadsheet import, checked and shown to you first, so the first pay run starts from figures you have already approved. The switching page covers the order to do it in.
Can I run payroll for a venue outside the UAE?
Yes. The monthly run works in your own currency: salaries and allowances, deductions and advances, leave, end-of-service and a payslip for every employee, all at your own rates. The WPS bank file and the MOHRE SIF are there for the venues that file them.
How much accounting knowledge does it take to run a month?
Enough to know your own salaries. Open the month, look down each payslip and complete the run. It is usually one person's job, often the owner's, and it is the same handful of steps every month.
